2021 Season Finale

The Claymores officially ended their 2021 season with a tough road loss to Tallahassee. The team played its first game in the rain, with multiple players fielding new positions. This ultimately lead to a self induced early deficit. The Claymores started the second half of the game strong, but unfortunately it was not enough to overcome a fundamentally sound Tallahassee team. The outcome was not what we had hoped, but the effort and heart was everything we could have asked for. The experience gained from a heart fought loss is something that great teams can use to propel themselves to the next level. The Claymores look to do just that next season.

Congratulations to a great Tallahassee side on both of their quarterfinal and semi final wins, and best of luck to them in the state finals vs Daytona Beach.

Though the 7s season is now quickly approaching, we are not leavings our 15s season behind just yet. The lads will be meeting at the Harp and Celt in Downtown Orlando on May 1st to celebrate a great season with all of our fans, family, and sponsors. The team will be handing out awards that have been voted on by each player. The votes will be tallied and plaques will be awarded to the winner of each of the following awards: Claymore of the Year, Back of the Year, Forward of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and lastly the Most Improved Player of 2021. Be sure to check back in to see which Claymore will be taking home some hardware.
